Overview
In a Siberia village in the years following the war. Nastya, the most beautiful girl in the village, is waiting for her beloved husband to return from the frontline. The women sympathize her, but spread the rumors that Nastya is off her head out of head: she starts every time someone knocks on the door, hoping that her husband has finally found a way back home, or that at least there is some news of him.
