The show is based on the Dutch reality game show Now or Neverland and is produced by Endemol. Though the Philippine producers have plans to make the Philippines the next Fear Factor hub in the world, they still decided to shoot the first series in Buenos Aires, Argentina where stunts experts and resources are readily available.
