Overview

Lynette Dawson wants to set up a foundation in the name of her late husband. Her sons Patrick and Robin are to act as directors. Lynette hopes that her daughter-in-law Kim and daughter-in-law-to-be Marisa will also get involved in the business. But they have completely different plans. While Kim is reluctant to give up her job as a biologist in London, Marisa breaks off her engagement to Robin. Lynette still thinks she has everything under control. A mistake, because a scandal breaks out on her very first day at the new company: a group of young people working on a project there are diagnosed with signs of poisoning.
