Apart from a loose affair with the traveling feed salesman Gerd, the life of Brandenburg farmer Jutta consists only of work - and her cow Gloria. For Jutta, Gloria is the center of her little world, but for her brother Thomas, who comes to visit unexpectedly after the death of their father, this devotion is highly irritating.
