During the WWII, veteran Panas Petrovich Baida lost his son. Many years passed, and Panas Petrovich came to terms with his loss, hiding his grief deep in his heart. They are still alive today, but fate has scattered them to different corners of the country. Panas Petrovich sets out to visit each of them, hoping to recognize his son among them.
