Koto Nakazawa and her older Sadamasa (Michitaka Tsutsui) take part in "Roshigumi" ("Kyoto Defenders") led by Hachiro Kiyokawa (Mansaku Ikeuchi). One day, she stops outlaws who threaten merchants. When she is about to use her sword, Ryoma Sakamoto (Masaya Kato) stops her.
