A case of match-fixing was discovered in the university baseball league. Their coach, Kurosawa (Sugawara Takuma) is made to hold an emergency press conference, where the media accused the prestigious Kirin University of match-fixing, with Kurosawa being pressured to take the fall. Harangued at every turn and convinced of a criminal conspiracy going to the top, Kurosawa turns to his old friend Aramasa Bunji (Motomiya Yasukaze), a fellow Kirin University alum and now a real estate company president, for help.
