The Wachi family launches a desperate manhunt for Goro and the others. Meanwhile, Daimura learns that while he was in prison, his Daimura-gumi is being dissolved and absorbed into a larger alliance through a sake-cup ceremony led by the Wakagashira Okura (Kazuyoshi Ozawa). Determined to stop it, Daimura arms himself and heads alone for the ceremony venue—but…!!
