He was the world's most published cartoonist of humor in the 1970s; his compilation books were translated into numerous languages and published in countries such as Italy, Portugal, Spain, Germany, France, Belgium, China, and the United States, among others. In the most recent years of his career he has devoted himself almost exclusively to graphic humor and children's illustrations.
