Former maid Qin Yue Xiang accidentally kills her mason husband to protect her 9-year-old daughter Sang Cai Qing from being married to an old man. Before she is hanged by the town magistrate Xiao Ru Zhang, Yue Xiang sends Cai Qing to her biological father, rich tycoon Chen Yuan, to seek refuge. But Chen's jealous wife, Yu Ru, makes Cai Qing a maid at Chens' manor and as she grows up, Cai Qing is drawn into a series of romantic complications.
